REGISTRATION OPENING SOON FOR 2011 MEXICAN 1000
NORRA is back and better than ever! We have returned off-road motorsports to its roots — hot rodding and fun! The Mexican 1000 Rally is a fully-supported on-road/off-road rally open to vintage and alternative fueled vehicles. It will be an adventure filled with high-performance driving, incredible scenery and world-class adventure.
Plans are being made for 2011 Mexican 1000. It is tentatively scheduled for spring of next year. Watch this page for updates!

With the dust finally settled on the historic NORRA 2010 Mexican 1000 Rally, which took place April 28th — May 2nd, the motorsports industry has finally had a chance to weigh in on an event where every participant seemed to have one thing in common: a smile from ear to ear. Dirt Sports magazine has proclaimed that the NORRA Mexican 1000, where "Old Guys Rule",is the "Happiest Race On Earth". With its historic return to the motorsports world, the National Off Road Racing Association (NORRA) honored off-road racer Jim Kirby on June 12th for his participation in the 2010 NORRA Mexican 1000 rally. The three day special stage rally, which was held April 28th thru May 2nd held fast to NORRA's simple mission statement of "Honoring the past. Forging the future". While the rally was noted for its all-star line-up of world-famous off road racers from the past and present and a mixing of the world's most historic vintage off road vehicles with cutting edge alternative fuel technology, one could easily identify that Jim Kirby is a tribute to off-road motorsport's past, present, and future. The award was presented during a post rally party at the "West Coast Metric" motorsports museum of fellow racer Lorenzo Pearson. READ MORE |

Rally for Relief - In response to the devastation caused by Hurricane Jimena to the Baja Peninsula in September 2009, NORRA decided to postpone the 2009 Mexican 1000 Rally and called upon the Off-Road industry to help bring relief to our neighbors to the south. READ MORE |
