The Baja Bug Movie Screening
at the NORRA 500

The NORRA 500 on October 11th through the 13th will be celebrating the VW beetle’s huge impact on the sport of off road racing. NORRA will have a special class 11 race for both Vintage class beetles and Evolution class beetles to crown the overall VW Beetle King of the Beach.

That’s only the beginning. At Mack Johnson’s Vintage Classic Car Round-up on contingency row, he will have iconic racing bugs on display and a meet and greet with one of the fastest VW beetle racers of all time; our Grand Marshal Ramón Castro. The Vintage Classic Car Round-up is from 10am-1pm and the meet and greet is from 12pm-1pm, both on Friday the 11th.

Now to top it all off, Michael Squier has agreed to do a very special screening for NORRA of his incredible film “The Baja Bug Movie” after the driver’s meeting at the Riviera Cultural Center Amphitheater. This special screening of the movie is open to the public. We invite everyone to come down, rub elbows with the racers and watch the best Baja Bug movie ever made. It covers the entire history of the Baja Bug and the VW beetle’s huge impact on the sport of off road racing. This will be the first time the movie has been shown in Ensenada. We expect a big turnout of Vochorol club members.
